What is East Asia Sea Surface Temperature (NRTSST, Near Real Time Sea Surface Temperature)?
This is a near-real-time ocean satellite application product (L4) that fuses satellites, numerical models, and artificial intelligence to provide sea surface temperature specialized for the seas near Korea (East Asia area).
※ Near-real-time sea surface temperature is provided for the same day.
※ Past East Asia area sea surface temperature(D-2) can be downloaded via the OPeNDAP service.
What is the Northwest Pacific Sea Surface Temperature (SST) composite?
This ocean satellite application product (L4) is produced once a day by compositing 8 satellites, the national ocean observation network, KMA marine buoys, and NIFS fishing-ground information to provide sea surface temperature specialized for the Northwest Pacific area including Korea.
※ Sea surface temperature composite information is provided with a 2-day delay.
What is Sargassum detection information?
Sargassum horneri distributed on the sea surface is detected with GOCI-II and expressed as the ratio contained in each pixel (62,500 m²).
The hourly detection results for the selected date are composited and provided.
What is Sargassum detection information?
This is the result of detecting Sargassum horneri distributed on the sea surface with GOCI-II.
Detection results using satellite images from 08:00 to 17:00 on the selected date are provided.
What is altimeter-based Sea Surface Current (SSC)?
Sea surface current derived from satellite sea surface height data, using the sea level anomaly (SEALEVEL_L4) data provided daily by the EU CMEMS (http://marine.copernicus.eu/).
* If no image is available, a PDF can be downloaded via OPeNDAP.
